Regional Assessment and Resources Centre (RARC) provides appropriate, accurate, comprehensive and effective assessment services and follow up services to the Queen's University student population and to persons with specific learning disabilities in the south-eastern region of Ontario.  Sliding fee scale available, dependant on income.  Eligibility criteria can be found here: http://www.queensu.ca/hcds/rarc/Services/Eligibility.htm

NOARC/CERNO offers psychological assessments to northern postsecondary students with suspected or previously documented learning disabilities. Services are available in English and French to students accepted or registered at:

  • Laurentian University
  • Nipissing University
  • Northern College
  • Sault College
  • Université de Hearst

Referrals are accepted through postsecondary disability offices. Staff in disability services help students compile the information they will need for an assessment and direct students to appropriate financial resources for funding the assessment cost.
