Welcome to CADDAC
WHO WE ARE

The Centre for ADHD/ADD Advocacy, Canada (CADDAC) is a national not-for-profit organization providing leadership in education and advocacy for ADHD organizations and individuals with ADHD across Canada.

OUR MANDATE

CADDAC’s mandate is to take a national, leadership role in networking all organizations, professionals, patients, caregivers and other stakeholders involved in ADHD related issues, and to then support those people through education and advocacy.

OUR MISSION

To better the lives of those affected by ADHD in Canada by:
  • Providing current, scientifically based ADHD information
  • Increasing the awareness, understanding and tolerance of ADHD as a neurological disorder.
  • Dispelling the myths, misunderstandings and stigma surrounding ADHD.
  • Advocating to government and decision makers

OUR VISION

We see a future in which all Canadians with ADHD are understood and appreciated for who they really are and for what they can contribute to society. Equally, all elements of society including educational institutions and the workplace would appreciate the limitations and needs of people with ADHD, and be willing to support them as they grow and seek their individual futures.

Please access the Advocacy Campaigns section and add your voice to our advocacy efforts.

We also encourage you to become a member of CADDAC to add you voice to the effort.
