CADDAC does not investigate these clubs for their quality of care or understanding of ADHD. Please be aware that this needs to be done by you, the parent.
Please make sure that you investigate the programs, supervision and quality of care thoroughly. Most clubs are more than happy to supply you with an abundance of information as well as testimonials from past customers.

OntarioNo Stress Chess - LDATDJoining the fun, new and exciting No Stress Chess Club will allow your child/youth to understand the true meaning of being part of a club. They will benefit from the game of chess in more ways than you can imagine. LD/ADHD specific instructors will help coach your child/youth at their own pace through their hands-on guided method.
Ages: 9+ years old
Groups meet on Saturdays from 1:00pm – 2:15pm
October until April

Ages: 8-15 years of age
Dates: September – June (specific session dates within those months)

Cost: $150 for new students, $125 for returning students & members
Space is limited to 10 children per class.

LDATD's Social Skills and Socialization Programs are designed to provide the opportunity for developing important and positive peer relationships. A Social Skills/Socialization Program designed to teach children with learning disabilities and/or AD(HD) the concrete skills they need to make friends.
Program Groups:
- Kinder Kids: 4 - 5 year olds
- Children: 6 - 11 years old
- Pre-Teen Group: 12 - 13 years old
- Youth Group: 14 - 17 years old
Contact LDATD if you are interested in the program. Leave your name, phone number, and name and age of your child. You will be contacted to arrange an intake. Attend the intake with your child. This is our chance to get to know your child and your opportunity to ask questions and gather information. Based on this intake, LDATD will decide whether or not this is the program for your child and, if so, which group would best suit him or her.
